I really should go to bed, but I like these, and I feel like vegging out a little longer, now that the kitchen is clean.

351. Have you ever lost something and never found it?

Um, sure. If I hadn't, I never would've actually lost anything.

352. Do you listen to any talk radio shows?

I occasionally listen to the first half of NPR talk stuff (Talk of the Nation, Science Friday, stuff like that), but I turn it off when the calls start, because they make me anxious.

353. Who do you trust more, your friends or your parents?

My friends. I know them better.

354. Would you ever date someone outside of your race or religion?

Of course. We're a mixed-religion family. I have always dated white people, but that's not by design (I'm not saying it's not indicative of anything about me -- probably at the very least, a certain comfort zone around white people, of which I'm not exactly proud -- but that it's not intentional).

355. Which of the 7 deadly sins is the worst (gluttony, greed, pride, lust, envy, wrath, sloth)?

I don't accept the premise that the 7 are deadly.

356. Which one are you most guilty of?

See above. I am not guilty of any of them.

357. Are you afraid to be alone with yourself?

Not in the least.

Do you try to avoid thinking?

Nope.

358. Would you venture to tell someone you loved him or her if they didn't say it first?

I never have. The closest I've come is asking TOTGA if he loved me, so he would say it first and I could say it back. He did; I did.

359. What are you the most sensitive about?

Probably being patronized or humored. I have this self-image thing where I want to think I'm approachable and easygoing, but I also have really strong opinions about a lot of things, and I think it makes me seem really prickly sometimes, and when someone seems to be trying to smoothe me over, that gets my back up. It's a personal flaw.

360. What can you talk about for hours?

Food; religion; the music I like; movies; polyamory; sex.

361. Do you talk about yourself, other people, or ideas the most?

Myself, then ideas, then other people, I think.

362. Do you believe that spell casting can work?

Nope, not at all.

363. Are you a fan of The Legend of Zelda games?

I've never played them.

364. What old movie would you go see if it were re-released in the movie theaters?

Grease. I totally loved that movie when I was a kid, and saw it something like 49 times in the movie theater (okay, it was exactly 49 times).

365. Is there a celebrity that you would be too starstruck to talk to if you met them?

Nope. I don't do starstruck. Whenever I've encountered celebrities, I've been able to speak with them. (Told Gregory Hines we loved him a few months before he died.)

366. Have you ever left a mean anonymous comment or unsigned note?

Not that I can remember.

367. What kind of myspace buletins annoy you the most?

I don't really know what a myspace bulletin is, though I have a little-used account there.

368. What are three things that you try not to think about?

I go in the other direction; I tend to overthink things.

369. Is casual sex acceptable for you?

Sure. It doesn't seem to be the way I do things, but sometimes I wish it were.

370. What form of sexual protection do you use?

Depends on whom I'm having sex with. If you and I ever have sex, you'll be on my needs-to-know list.

371. What is expected of you that you feel is unnatural or not right?

People who expect unnatural/not right things of me lose my interest pretty fast. I suppose some people expect everyone to be straight and monogamous, but those aren't people I tend to hang out with.

372. Do you sometimes place your own expectations on other people?

Sure. They have my explicit permission to ignore me, though.

373. Do you sometimes act overeager to make friends when you are around strangers?

I sometimes babble when I am around strangers, yes, in some kind of attempt to be clever/witty, I think, and I usually say stupid stuff, but I long ago came to terms with that, and I choose to look at myself as geekily enthusiastic rather than just plain dorky.

374. Do you take everything that is said literally?

No, but I do tend to answer rhetorical questions, which can be annoying.

375. Do you take most things others say seriously?

Nah.

376. Do you have a quick wit?

On a good day.

377. Do you believe in the need for political correctness?

Do you *really* want to hear my "political correctness" rant at 2:30 in the morning? Tell me you don't, pretty please?

378. Do you have strong opinions and beliefs?

Uh-huh.

379. If yes, can you still hang out with and be friends with people who disagree with you?

Sometimes. I confess I find it hard to be close to people who have certain (what I consider to be) fundamentally different views on the world from mine. That's not to say I can't be friends with them, but we'll probably never be truly close friends.

380. Are you uptight?

Sometimes.

381. Do you sometimes do risky things?

Yep.

382. Could just about anyone hold your interest in a conversation for at least ten minutes?

Oh, yes.

383. Are you self-conscious?

Sometimes, but less as I get older.

384. What would be your ideal destination for a Saturday afternoon?

Farmer's market, a movie, a nice dinner, and a soft bed.

385. Does anyone have a video tape of you doing soemthing embarrassing?

Others might find it embarrassing, but I don't.

386. What is Kevin Smith’s(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Smith) best movie?

"Dogma", by a mile.

387. Where do you like to go on Friday or Saturday nights?

I mostly stay home. That's how I like my life.

388. Do you like your friends to act the same way all the time or do you accept their moods and changes?

I don't need my friends to act the same way all the time, but severe mood swings are difficult for me to handle.

389. Do you often feel like other people are judging you?

Hmm. No more than average, I think.

390. What do you think other people judge you to be like?

People think I'm more cheerful than I am. I think people also (accurately) judge me to be essentially happy, a bit of a flake, very smart, and very interested in keeping a hospitable home.

391. Are you quick to judge others?

Yes.

392. When you have a fight with someone do you want to talk about it right away or calm down first and then talk?

It depends. Usually, I want to talk things out, but if I feel like someone's angry with me, I need a break from them. Anger scares me.

393. Some say love is a river (according to the old song). What do you say love is?

Love is so many things. It's an emotion, a set of behaviors, a goal, a sappy sentiment, a dynamic connection between people, a weapon -- so many things.

394. What is the worst fault a person can have?

I'm not the one to ask that. I couldn't begin to rank the evils in this world.

395. Do you have it?

No, I doubt I have the worst fault a person can have, whatever that is. I'm a pretty boring sort, not an evil genius.

396. Which do you think has more impact on a person’s character, genetics or environment?

I suspect genetics has a slight edge, but the jury isn't likely to come in on the question in my lifetime.

397. Who was your first best friend?

Tammy Andersen. She was a year old when I was born, and our moms were best friends at the time.

398. If you are not best friends anymore, what came between you?

Distance. We moved to Spain when I was 8.

399. Who have you read a biography about?

Lots of people. Harriet Tubman. Abraham Lincoln. Malcolm X. The children in one of the Japanese Internment camps in WWII. Lots of people.

400. What would your own autobiography be called?

Contentment in Ten Easy Difficult Steps

Oh, I do, I do! :) I have a "political correctness" rant, too. That is definitely one of those phrases that just sets my teeth on edge.
