This is of course to protect the children. (Of course incest is the one form of child sex abuse that requires little or no Internet solicitation, but children & sex is far too serious a matter to think clearly about.)

I have moved all my former lj interests onto my user page and replaced them with "freedom of speech." You may wish to consider doing likewise.

ETA: Oh, and if you go to the "Warriors for Innocence" site and try to reason with them, they dump a bunch of malware on you, presumably because porn sympathizers are at least as bad as the people who really do the stuff.

I, on the other hand, am not changing a word of my LJ in order to appease these assholes, so although it's unlikely anything on my interests list is going to be targeted, neither will I be clearing my list of interests -- I find it to be a useful tool for finding community.

I have, however, written a strongly worded letter of protest to LJ.
