ETA: Oh, and if you go to the "Warriors for Innocence" site and try to reason with them, they dump a bunch of malware on you, presumably because porn sympathizers are at least as bad as the people who really do the stuff.

I, on the other hand, am not changing a word of my LJ in order to appease these assholes, so although it's unlikely anything on my interests list is going to be targeted, neither will I be clearing my list of interests -- I find it to be a useful tool for finding community.

I have, however, written a strongly worded letter of protest to LJ.

As usual, I waffled. I kept my interests, but added"freedom of speech" and "censorship." They should already have been listed, anyway.

Of course, there's also the point that the term incest means something along the lines of "sex between family members" and doesn't directly relate to children anymore than "sex" does. If children are involved, then doesn't "child pornography" or "statutory rape" better describe the situation than "incest"?

Heh. Incest can also be perfectly legal, if it's, say, first-cousin incest, and if you're in one of the various U.S. states or other countries where that's legal.

Incest is usually defined as illegal acts with relations though - so shagging your first cousin is legal in England but incest in parts of the US.
