Given your occasional mentions of the Bay Area, I had surmised you lived in the area, but I apparently suffered from a brain fart while I was reading your post last night.
My apologies for uprooting and relocating to you a foreign land, thousands of miles from your home and family. Even if it is the most peaceful nation on Earth.
Oh, no sweat; wish I could teleport there from time to time. My commune-mates in the early '90s were trying to figure out how to move to NZ, but they were rapidly approaching what was then the age cutoff for married-with-kids folks, which was 35. (At 42, I may want NZ, but they're unlikely to want me.)
