I made one for my husband. It took over a year...Now I am making a matching little one for my son. It has taken even longer, but I am *much* busier now : )
Hurray! Dr Who scarves are great. I have made one that's similar to that in style and colour scheme, but not as long, and I get constant compliments on it. I may lengthen it one day, if I get yarn leftovers in the right colours.
Just handed over a fluffy "ostrich" birthday scarf to a friend, who was overjoyed as she'd been pricing up similar scarves and found herself unable to afford one of decent quality. Apparently her pressie would cost £30 in a fancy department store! (It cost me £5 in yarn and a couple of evenings in front of the telly...)
