Just to be clarity-girl, my feelings aren't hurt over the whole "Serene is a big meanie" set of discussions; I'm just musing about it. Thanks, everyone who rushed to comfort me, and thanks, too, everyone who rushed to tell me I *am* a big meanie. ;-)

I haven't weighed in on the whole thing since I have no contact with you on usenet, but on lj and in person I can't see how anyone could ever call you a meanie.

That being said, the question is: Even if you are not hurt, are you considering making adjustments to your writing or behavior because of these complaints?
