I plan to just fiddle with NaNo ideas from now until November. I may plan, I may not, but I'm going to give it some brainspace, partly to see if it helps me actually finish this time, and partly because I just want to.

• one-sided villains
• when the bad guy wins
• wizards/fairies/etc.
• war stories
• historical romances
• reluctant women being wooed by strong men
• stories written in dialect (in general -- there've been a few exceptions)
• bad dialogue
• helpless female characters
