Good things (all of which are more important than the backache that's making me mildly cranky):

1) bitty and bubblebabble are here. They're lovely houseguests. In addition to being lovely houseguests, they brought us cookies (natch) and zucchini! Roasted zucchini last night was my favorite part of dinner.

2) I got an *outstanding* deal on an Ampia pasta roller at the East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse the other day.

3) Apropos of #2, there is ravioli dough in the fridge! (I used four medium eggs instead of 3 large, and bread flour because that's what I had. I'll let you know how it comes out.)

4) May be able to see bratman tomorrow, yay! We crossed wires (or, rather, didn't cross them) and I was thinking it might fall through.

5) More important than #s 1 through 4 is that stonebender is still home, still breathing, and seems to be making good progress. I'll be sure to spoil him rotten on Sunday for y'all, because I know you're like that.

Next weekend I will be going to BiCon! And there will be lots and lots of kissing and hugging and cuddlepiles, drinking and dancing, and *fingers crossed tight* some sex, please let there be sex, it's been too damn long (and if I can't get laid at BiCon there's no hope for me...)

And then the weekend after is a Bank Holiday and I have friends coming to stay, we're going to a Rock Night on the Saturday which will be 9pm-3am of booze, hard rock, laughter and ill-advised headbanging. And then two days of touristy things, probably stately homes and formal gardens. Hurray!

I'm glad to hear the good news about stonebender. I'm still sending healing thoughts his way...and to you, as well.

I'm checking LG for the first time in...er...a week, which should indicate that things are going well here. Derk and Kent met for the first time (over a Moody Blues concert) and all three of us survived. I had an old friend of mine come visit. And I sold another painting! Yay!

So it's been an exciting week. Which is why I'll be eating leftover pizza and watching dvds from the library tonight. Too much excitement can be tiring. ;)
