Answer me anything

Here are the answers so far to my "ask me
anything" thingy, which is still open for questions.
1) What has prompted this post?
pantryslut did it, and I thought about why it's not the kind of
thing I usually do, and then I decided I was making a bigger deal out of
it in my mind than I liked, and then I copped to the fact that I love
talking about myself, so I went for it.
2) What have you done just for you lately?
Just now, I spent my last dollar on sushi. Not very good sushi, and who
knows, I may be sick from it later, but it was what I was in the mood for,
so it was worth it. Also, I did bad things to someone hot yesterday, and
that made me really happy (you may argue that was not just for me, but it
felt that way, so it counts).
3) How did you know you were poly?
I don't know. I don't remember when, either, but it was long before my
first romantic relationship. I know I was reading stuff with poly content
pretty early on; maybe it just seemed normal to me.
4) Who do you love?
Myself. My mother. My partners. My sister's kids. My family of origin, for
the most part. My friends. And in a hare-krishna-I-love-the-world kind of
way, most everyone.
5) Who do you have a crush on?
No one right now, but crushes come and go for me. Crush-objects of late
have been
autographedcat,
dreadgeekgrrl, and
epi_lj (note: all have been informed of said crushes; all have been
notified that I don't require that they do anything about said crushes;
end of disclaimer). I also have sort of a might-be-crush on a woman I
know, but if I haven't told *her*, I'm certainly not going to tell *you*.
I went for a few years with no crush energy at all, so I'm pretty glad
that it's back. I like crushes.
6) What would you be doing today if money were no object?
I would be at the radiologist getting an ultrasound-guided biopsy of my
thyroid tumor.
7) what is your earliest memory of? do you still feel any emotions that
were associated with it when it happened?
I don't remember having any emotion around my first memory, which was of
going to see my mother when she was in the hospital after having my
brother. I was almost three, and she was looking at me through a window,
and had on really bright red lipstick.
8) did you garden when you were a child?
Oh, no. We might have grown beanstalks in cups in kindergarten or
something, but mine is not a gardening family. We didn't even have
houseplants.
9) what is your favorite kind of weather?
I have a really broad range of perfect weathers. Cool and breezy; sunny
with a light, cold breeze; rainy and warm; rainy and cold...
10) in what way do you organize your books?
In a silly way. :-) I have some shelves that are normalish: Science
fiction/fantasy, general fiction, short stories, etc. Then I have one
shelf called "WTF?" for the weird fundy treatises and so on that we tend
to collect. There's one called "Stuff by people we know" that has stuff
of
final_girl's,
wild_irises's,
pameladean's,
papersky's, yours truly, etc. Cookbooks
have their own shelf near the kitchen. Coffee-table books are on their
own shelf, because we have no coffee table. Erotica has its own section.
So does stuff about making books and zines. And the graphic novels,
comics, and humor are closest to the bathroom aka reading room.
