This Saturday is one of those days that reminds me that even if I were not
doing the Month O'Leave-Me-Alone, I would never be able to do all the
social stuff I'd like to do:

1) Date with stonebender
2) baerana will be in town
3) jwermont's concert
4) Writers With Drinks
with ohmigod Guillermo Gomez Peña, who can have me any time he wants me
5) OKCupid party in Golden Gate Park that actually sounds like fun

Even with a teleporter and unlimited funds, I just could not do every cool
thing in this town, no way nohow. Oddly, this makes me feel contented.

That's how I feel about Seattle. Just the fact that there are always more cool things than I can do is oddly comforting. I don't have to do any of them, it's just nice to know they're available if I want.
