Serene of the Oakland Serenes

Hospice has a special place in my heart. When my best friend was dying and my family couldn't care for him in our home any more, they came to the rescue. I still have lots of guilt over not being there for him in the way they were, but I can't put into words how much love and dignity they added to his life at the end.

I only do fundraising posts if I think the cause is really worthy and the people involved are good folks. One of my nifty new neighbors is going to swim a little over a mile to raise money for Hospice by the Bay, and you can help!
