I have the best boyfriends ever, seriously.

Today, after my rollercoaster of heart stuff, I went over to stonebender's, where he joined me in being total slugs -- we played around on the internet, I napped, we watched a little TV, and we ate yummy high-fat foods. It was lovely.

And while I was gone, someotherguy set up the new computers our boss bought us -- I am typing this now on the Ubuntu partition of the dual-boot Ubuntu/XP box that is my new best friend. I am so excited.

Hey, pleonastic -- okay if I bug you later this weekend some time about gnus and stuff?

What a really really good day I've had.

I'm really liking it so far. I think I didn't expect it to be so gui-tastic (I wouldn't have minded a non-gui interface, but this sure was easy to just fire up).

someotherguy, to our boss: "So what virus protection do you want on this?"

Boss: "Um, we're running Ubuntu."
