Jun. 5th, 2008 02:25 pmRules:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me" or something of an equally pithy nature.
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions of a very personal nature. Be warned!
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions, or there will be trouble.
4. You will include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them 5 questions.
I will promise questions to the first 5 people; after that, it will depend on my interest/energy/etc.
My answers to
semy_of_pearls:
1) Your default icon is you resting your head in your hands. The look on your face suggests... Frustration? Where was the photo taken and what were you thinking about?
Fascination. I was paying close attention to the speaker, who I believe was my partner
stonebender. We were at a convention he was chairing.
lcohen took the picture, which is my favorite photo of me ever.
2) List the music that you cannot be without (bands, individual songs, genres, any way you would like to define it.)
I almost did my standard "Well, I could live without them..." literal-girl-type answer, but I think I would cry without folk-rock singer-songwriters, like Shawn Colvin and Richard Shindell and Emily Saliers and John Gorka and Mary Chapin Carpenter and people like that.
3) Which would you prefer: walking or bicycling?
Hmm. Walking, I guess, but only because I'm afraid of the drivers where I live. I do like riding a bike.
4) Have you ever been so mad at someone that your normal filter didn't work?
Hmmm. No, I guess not, because my normal filter allows for saying things like, "you're being a total asshole," but it just so rarely comes up.
5) Your health is improving (yay!) but if it wasn't, would you try to do one crazy thing before your health prevented it, and what would that be?
Heh. This is pretty far outside the way I think, actually. I can't really wrap my brain around it. If, though, I have to think of something I really like doing that I wouldn't be able to do if I had a severe disability, I can come up with a huge long list.

Date: 2008-06-08 04:47 am (UTC)I remember watching the TV news when the Berlin Wall was coming down, with tears running down my cheeks and being literally speechless with joy. A whole new world opened up for millions and millions of people that day. Thousands saw family members for the first time in decades. How could that not be ecstatic?
