Happy things, Day 5

serene1) I made the best buttermilk pancakes I've ever made. I halved this recipe, with 1 egg being half of 3 eggs. New math. Also, I left out the pecans and bananas. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

2) As worried as I am aboutwtfpotatoes while she's off in a whole. other. country., I'm enjoying having the house a little less full, and being able to be naked in my living room.
3) RAIN!! I love rain.
4) I am having trouble leaving the house these days for anything but a minimal walk. I am happy that I have friends and family whose response to that is always "Can I help?" and not "Snap out of it!"

6) There's split-pea soup on the stove for lunch, and we'll be having Kili's kalua pig for dinner. Sometimes, cooking really does make me feel at least somewhat better. That and the whole people-being-nice-to-me-when-I'm-down thing.
