her: "Is this the Joe we didn't meet at Mary's party?"
me: "No, another Joe;
teal7's partner (she's met
teal7), from Australia."
her: (*said in good humor*) "Oh, 'cause unless you're planning on having him as a partner, I think it's unwise for you to even meet
joedecker. He's apparently irresistible to everyone he meets."
Heh. One never knows what details one's partner will latch on to at a poly party.

Date: 2002-08-04 12:17 pm (UTC)there, now that that's behind me: yay! i usually accompany ayana on at least two business trips to that area a year--the springtime one attaches to a big conference of hers that i help at and wind up having very little free time during, but this fall she'll probably head out that way and if it works out, i'll go with. (ayana's company is based in san leandro, but she works out of our back bedroom. still, they like to see her every now and then--probably just to see how i've corrupted her since i lured her away from san leandro ;-) .)
