Last night's dinner: Sweet cabbage leaves from the farmer's market, stuffed with the rest of the lasagna meat, brown rice, and parmesan, and baked with sweet tomato sauce (tomato sauce and sweet onions); baby-greens salad; two-day-old good french bread that would have been better fresh, but was still damn good with sweet butter.

Cute-poet-chick called me yesterday and we had a nice little talk. Miss her. Love her. Hope she's finding ways to be happy. She is an amazing and important woman. The Wicked Stepcat died just before Christmas, and I wish I could take away that sadness.

Have a ton of work to do, so I should get the hell off LJ. Have a delicious day, and if I don't see you before tomorrow, a happy new year.

Food Allergies:
None. I'm a little sensitive to milk and some soy stuff, but not enough for a host to have to worry about them.

Foods I Don't Eat, Ever:
I don't have rules about what I will and won't eat. That said, I don't eat veal, and prefer vegetable foods over meat foods, in general.

Foods I Don't Prefer, But Will Eat Occasionally or Pick Out of Mixed Dishes:
I will eat whatever I'm served, even if it's something I wouldn't normally eat.

General Principles About My Food Preferences:
Organic is better, free-range is better, low-impact is better.
I eat some meat, but prefer most vegetable foods to most meat foods.
The more processed meat is, the more I like it, but I will try anything.

Though I probably won't eat out with or cook for most folks I know here, I still thought this was fun.
