(no subject)

The other day:

someotherguy: We sure seem to have a fair number of friends who are with partners who aren't good enough for them, don't we?

Me: Ayup.

someotherguy: It seems like most, if not all, of them are women, too.

Me: Yep.

someotherguy: I wonder why that is?

*pause*

someotherguy: Oh, wait -- duh. It's because women are so much better than men!

*laughter*

Me: You know that's getting blogged, right?

someotherguy: *laughs*

Plan for the day:

1) Go to baby_fly's baby shower (thanks to loracs for being willing to do the driving)

2) Come home

3) Collapse in a heap

Yep, sounds like a plan.

Next Sunday

Local folk: A week from today, we're gonna help paint at klwalton's. Y'all come, 'kay?

I really should be in bed

But first, a quick report on my lovely day:

1) Mom is fine, and she's home now, yay!
