(Tofu frozen, thawed, crumbled, and simmered in homemade barbecue sauce and onions, served with baked potatoes and salad. I love weekends because I get to cook all day for two days straight. Maybe tonight I'll play with my first package of puff pastry.)

I make a similar dish, except I use thinly sliced seitan instead of tofu. It's such a great dish - fast and easy and kids will eat it without whining. LOL

I think maybe no strenuous, erm, cooking tonight. I am having a bout of that weird heart thing, and I'm taking it easy. Very tired. Not sleepy, just tired. stonebender asked if I've been taking my iron pills, and you know, I haven't even thought about them in weeks. I need to find a way to remember them several times a day instead of several times a year.

I keep my pills stashed on top of the stereo. Since I can't abide living without music, I encounter them when I go to turn it on and take them (or, in practice, take them before going to bed, when I turn it off).

It'd probably be better if I remembered them at wake-up instead of go-sleep, but at least I remember them at all.

Can you keep them near the toothpaste, so you remember them when you brush your teeth? (Not a bad plan anyway, if they don't taste any better than they did when I was taking them years ago.)
