I think I will be living in a duplex with
2) Unrealistically, given a perfect life, where do you want to be five years from now?
I would have enough money to buy The Compound: A large parcel of land with several houses on it (or just several houses on the same block, f'rinstance), where all my chosen family could, if they wanted, live for free within a block of where I lived.
3) What's the big barrier keeping number one and two separate and distinct, or is there one?
It's the same life, just a difference in how much cash there is to make it happen.
4) Utterly and completely abandoning realism, make up where you'll be in five years. Alien abductions and portals to alternate universes are encouraged.
