Jan. 26th, 2006 08:56 pmUnbelievably simple, but when our friend in San Diego served it, no one would believe that all that was in it was a 50/50 blend of sour cream and cream cheese, and a bunch of chopped shallots. SO SO delicious.
I also really love a basic spinach dip (get the recipe off the back of a Mrs. Grass or Knorr veggie soup mix packet) with the addition of a few chopped scallions and a can of water chestnuts, minced finely.

Date: 2006-01-27 04:09 pm (UTC)I also like a vegan dip I make out of commercial vegan "sour cream", powdered vegan "beef broth", and dried minced onions. Tastes like French onion dip, but the vegans have trouble believing they can eat it.
