1. Jukebox!
I've wanted a jukebox all my life. When it became possible to rip one's CD collection to computer, I thought, Now there's a way! But I haven't had my own computer to do this on. Now I do. And 100+ gigs of storage. Whee! I've spent some of my spare time in the last few days learning how to set up my music library, and I think I even know how to make a mixtape CD now. 2. Flour!
I buy King Arthur flour at the Berkeley Bowl for $3.85 per 5-pound bag on a regular basis, once or twice a week. Lugging it home isn't my idea of fun. Anyway, buy enough of those bags on King Arthur's site, and you can get them for $3 a pop, and even with shipping, ten bags ended up costing me $3.75 each. Not bad, huh? And now my next month or more is covered, flour-wise. (The literature in the box was also covered with flour, literally.)
3. Boy-Gee!
The Boy Genius (akakevinkjr) will be here tomorrow night! Yay!
Vegan pizza party Friday night, 7pm, my place. Walking trip (you're welcome to drive and meet us) to the Ashby Flea Market and the Temescal Farmer's Market Sunday. Y'all are welcome to either or both. Send me email if you want more details about time and stuff for Sunday.
