(no subject)

I made black-bean enchiladas tonight. Haven't done it in a while, but someotherguy's been in the mood, and I was home and felt like cooking. I took photos, but they didn't come out as well as usual, because I used the light-colored island as a backdrop instead of the dark blue table. I'll know better next time. Anyway, here's my latest food porn. someotherguy thought it was cute that I was taking pictures of the food. I blamed klwalton.

Oh, and by the way, everything came out yummy. I like the yellow cucumbers. They're nifty. Have I mentioned lately that I love the Berkeley Bowl? ;-)

Just spent half an hour looking for a particular post. This is an argument for either memory-ing all my posts, or tagging them. Hrm.

got a tiny portion...

...of my planned puttering done today (cleaned the kitchen and made dinner; not much else), but that's okay. It was a lovely day in which I only left the house when I felt like it. I need these now and again.

Tomorrow, I finally get to spend a few hours alone with stonebender. We need it. Then work at Ikea. Working through the weekend, so I won't be making it to the polyflock.

A really great co-worker gave me a CD of his bands' music (he plays trumpet in at least three bands) and I was so happy to listen to it because (a) it makes me happy when people give me gifts of music, and (b) I'm always so relieved when people's music doesn't suck. It's really good.
