serene: liberty-justice is my femslash (liberty justice)
I really like this post from [livejournal.com profile] spacefem on feminism. I'm too tired to be more articulate about it than that.

Was telling my partners the other day that I don't spend enough time sitting in front of computer games (I know, most people say they do it too much, but I have so few games I really like). A thread on LJ got me looking, though, and I found the site for some of my favorite old games. I can't count the hours I spent as a teenager playing Honeycomb and Sherlock. Yay!

Bzzzz!

Got my latest BzzAgent package in the mail. It's Eucerin Daily Replenishing lotion. They sent me a full-sized bottle, plus a bunch of little samples with coupons, plus all kinds of literature. So far, I can say that it really is fragrance-free (yay! even the smallest amount of scent gives me a headache), and that the stuff itself doesn't have an odd smell; also, it absorbs quickly, but does leave a tiny bit of a greasy sheen on my skin. If it will help me with moisturizing without making me sick, though, I'm all for it. I'll use it this summer and see. It's SO hard for me to find skin-care (and hair-care) products that I can use. I only just found a conditioner that would work for me, after twenty years of looking. (BioInfusion Rosemary and Mint -- the shampoo has scents, but the conditioner doesn't, so if you don't mind a few minutes of minty-fresh hair, it's great stuff. I'm lucky to have good hair naturally, but it's so much softer now.)

Have you tried this stuff (either the Eucerin or the BioInfusion)? Do you have other fragrance-free skin/haircare products that you like?

One of the many lovely things that cute-poet-chick brought into my life: The inimitable Rickie Lee Jones. I find it impossible not to love this woman's music, even when I don't understand what the hell she's singing about, and even though she is surly to her audiences. She just rocks my socks, musically.

("Ah. Stay right there on the A." will never be not-smutty to me, ever again. If you're out there, cute-poet-chick, thanks for the gift of Rickie Lee.)
